RS Sodhi’s full name is Dr. Rupinder Singh is Sodhi. Sodhi has been with GCMMF-Amul Dairy for nearly four decades, rising from Director to MD. In July 2022, Sodhi became the first dairy professional from the federation and the second from Gujarat’s dairy sector to be elected president of the nearly seven-decade-old Indian Dairy Association (IDA). The reason behind RS Sodhi’s ouster
The reason for Sodhi’s dismissal is not known, but a letter was circulated on social media regarding the decision taken at the GCMMF board meeting in Gandhinagar on Monday. GCMMF chairman Shamal Patel and vice-chairman Valamji Hanbal signed a letter stating that Sodhi be removed as MD of GCMMF with immediate effect and Amul Dairy COO Jayant Mehta has been given the charge.
