New Delhi: Cases of in-flight commotion are increasing day by day. Now it is known that there has been a commotion in Vistara Airlines flight. According to the information received, an Italian woman assaulted the cabin crew staff in the flight from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai, not only this, she also made a commotion and took off her clothes. Mumbai Police has registered a case against the woman and issued a notice to her.
Police said Paola Peruccio, a woman of Italian origin, caused a ruckus on the flight. She was insisting on sitting in business class even though the cabin crew had economy tickets. When the crew refused, she became violent and started assaulting the cabin crew. She also took off some of her clothes and started walking around. Vistara has also released a statement on the incident.
The company said the incident happened on Monday January 30 on flight number UK 256. The flight took off from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai. Then a passenger on this flight became violent and tried to harm the cabin crew and other passengers. Meanwhile, the flight captain issued a warning card to the woman.
For the past few days, there have been incidents of turbulence in flights one after the other. One such case came to light on January 23, in which cabin crew were assaulted on a SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Hyderabad. There were allegations that the passenger had misbehaved with the cabin crew. After the uproar, the people sitting around settled the matter. Later, the accused passenger and his companion were taken off the plane and handed over to the security team.
A SpiceJet spokesperson said the wet-leased Corundon flight (SG-8133) was traveling from Delhi to Hyderabad. A passenger misbehaved during boarding in Delhi. The crew members informed the PIC and security staff about the matter. The passenger and his companion were disembarked and handed over to the security team.
Earlier, a similar incident also came to light in an Indigo flight on January 9, where the passengers were accused of creating a ruckus under the influence of alcohol. The Indigo flight in which the incident took place was coming from Delhi to Patna. The airport police arrested both the accused. The SHO stationed at the airport confirmed that the passengers were drunk. Both were on board IndiGo flight number 6E-6383.
