New Delhi: Immediately after the budget, the public has felt a big shock of inflation. Amul has increased the price of milk by 3 rupees per liter. Amul issued a statement saying that the price of milk has been increased by Rs 3 per litre. Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation) has released a statement saying that it has increased the price of milk by 3 rupees per liter. The information regarding this was given by Amul on the night of February 2 and the price increase has been implemented from today i.e. from February 3. However, this price increase will not be applicable in Gujarat. Applicable in other big cities including Delhi Mumbai, Pune.
The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets its dairy products under the Amul brand, last in October increased the price of its Gold, Fresh and Shakti milk brands by Rs. 2 was increased. Now, Gujarat Dairy Co-operative Amul has announced an increase of up to Rs.3 per liter on fresh milk from today. After this announcement, the price of Amul Gold will be Rs 66 per litre.
Now this price has to be paid
According to the company, now Amul fresh half liter milk will be available for Rs.27. While 54 rupees have to be paid for its 1 liter packet. A half kg packet of Amul Gold i.e. full cream milk will now be available for Rs.33. While 66 rupees have to be paid for 1 liter of it. The price of a liter of Amul cow’s milk has increased to Rs 56. While 28 rupees have to be paid for half a liter. Whereas A2 buffalo milk will now be available at a price of Rs 70 per kg.
Let us tell you that the prices of Amul yogurt and other products have also been increased. Earlier in October 2022, Amul had increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per litre. Apart from Amul, Mother Dairy has also increased the prices of milk and milk products. The increase in prices was due to increase in the overall cost of production and handling of milk. Amul said that the price of cattle fodder alone has increased by about 20 percent.
