New Delhi: Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnav on Saturday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the Railway Ministry to bring Vande Bharat Train like ‘Vande Metro’. . The ‘Vande Metro’ train is like a train running between two major stations nearby. Speaking to reporters, the Railway Minister also said that last year Indian Railways spent Rs. 59,000 crore subsidy has been given. Which equates to a concession of 55 percent for each passenger.

It may be mentioned here that earlier on Friday, he said that the prototype of India’s first hydrogen train will run on the country’s tracks in December this year and India’s first bullet train in August. The goal is to run in 2026. The Railway Minister said that the concept of Vande Bharat given by Prime Minister Modi in 2017 was built in 2019 and tested for two years by running over several lakh kilometers and now practically one Vande Bharat train is running every 8 to 10. And now we aim to build two to three Vande Bharat trains every week.
