PM Modi can stop Vladimir Putin – America
During a press conference on Friday, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said the United States would welcome any decision that would end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Meanwhile, he was asked whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi still has time to stop the war or convince President Vladimir Putin? In response, he said, “I think Putin still has time to stop the war. I want to tell PM Modi that whatever he does to stop this war, America will stand with him in that decision and we welcome that effort. With this he said that we think the war can end today… it must end today.
John Kirby said that the only person responsible for what is happening to the Ukrainian people is Vladimir Putin and he could still end this war but instead, Russia is firing cruise missiles at energy and power infrastructure. Putin wants to destroy the energy resources in Ukraine, so that the people of Ukraine will be in more trouble.
Let us tell you that since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war, PM Modi had spoken to Russian President Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky many times. Not only this, PM Modi told Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, “I know that today’s age is not an age of war. We have discussed this issue with you several times over the phone. Today we have to talk about how we can establish peace. How to pave the way for progress. India and Russia have been living side by side for many decades.
After that America and France praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. US National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan said that what PM Modi told Russian President Putin in Samarkand was absolutely true. America welcomes this statement. At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron said at the UNGA that PM Modi had rightly said in Samarkand that this is not the time for war. It is not a question of revenge against the West or of opposing the West against the East. It is time to face the challenges facing sovereign nations like ours.
