Meanwhile, a month before the start of IPL, there is a good news for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fans. One of CSK’s best players is all set to enter IPL 2023. According to information, Deepak Chahar will take entry after two years from this match.
After battling injuries last year, Indian fast bowler Deepak Chahar said he is fully fit and ready to make a comeback in the IPL starting next month. The fast bowler had a tough time recovering from a stress fracture and then a Grade III thigh injury. He last played for India in the second ODI in Bangladesh where he bowled just three overs. Chahar could only play 15 matches for India in 2022 and was also ruled out of the T20 World Cup due to injury. After undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Chahar is gearing up for the IPL where he will now play for CSK.
Chahar said that I have been working hard on my fitness for the last two-three months, I am fully fit and preparing well for the IPL. He said I had two major injuries. A stress fracture and a grade III thigh injury were sustained. Both have major injuries. Recovery from injury takes time, especially for fast bowlers.
