New Delhi: The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) will participate in the meeting to be held in the city of Hiroshima (Japan) on Friday. Departed on 19th May morning. The G7 meeting will continue till May 21. This meeting will involve countries with major economies of the world. The G7 meeting will also have a special discussion on issues such as change and economy, as well as the issue of China and Russia.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for a three-country tour. During this tour, PM Modi will attend the G7 meeting in Japan. Countries like China, Russia, America will attend this meeting. All the countries present in the G7 will discuss issues important to their mutual relations and national interests. After attending this meeting, the PM will leave for New Guinea. Where he will stay for a few hours, after which he will leave for Australia on May 22.
At the beginning of the meeting held in Japan, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak had banned Russian diamonds. Along with this, America also imposed 300 sanctions on Russia. According to a report, it has also been learned that Ukrainian President Zelensky will also attend this G7 meeting.
The G7 meeting to be held in Hiroshima is important for India. India is among the countries that have not signed the Nuclear Treaty or NPT. The main purpose of the Nuclear Treaty or NPT agreement is to ban nuclear testing. Japan’s Hiroshima and Nagasaki are the first cities in the world to have been bombed.
Along with this, it is happening for the first time after 66 years that the Prime Minister of India has visited Hiroshima. In 1957, Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru visited Hiroshima. After that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Hiroshima.
According to External Affairs Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, PM Modi will unveil the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Hiroshima. Mohan Kwatra also said that PM Modi will also visit the memorial park along with the G7 leaders. The park is built in memory of the victims of the nuclear attack by America. The countries involved in this G7 meeting will also try to hold the meeting of the QUAD countries in Hiroshima itself.
