All over the city, foreign liquor including domestic liquor is being sold in large quantities in various areas. But the local police seems to be playing the role of Dhutarashtra. The State Monitoring Cell team received information that liquor was being stocked and sold in two different houses of Yoginagar society, located opposite the house of Khodianagar Chowk Wooda, next to Kishanwadi on New VIP Road. On the basis of which SMC’s PSIS Rabari along with his team members raided the houses as per the information. In which two persons Vasant Balwantrai Surve and Chandrakant Chandu Rajput were found with 19267 bottles of foreign liquor from the house and both were arrested.
When the main bootlegger Anand Kishan Kahar, Dilipi Soma Machi and Nanak Machi, who sold the quantity of liquor, were not found, they have been declared wanted. Post Police Dhritarashtra despite selling liquor nearby
Liquor is being sold in large quantities openly in every police station area of the city. Why is it that the local police, including the PCB and DCB police officers, do not see the liquor bar open in the morning and evening in the Kot area, which is one kilometer away from the Warsia police station?
Local agencies only interested in quality cases?
The liquor dens of big bootleggers are thriving in different areas of the city. But why agencies including local police do not raid these bases. Because of this, the local informer gets fed up and informs the state monitoring cell and their team conducts raids. If such a large amount of liquor is caught in the raids of the outside agency, it is being discussed that the local police is interested in showing their performance by only doing quality cases.
Whose hidden blessing to bootleggers?
A large amount of liquor found during a raid by a state monitoring cell is not possible without hidden blessings. On the other hand, if the liquor business is booming due to collusion, will the police commissioner who has strict impression take action against them?
