Three other astronauts of Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and Axiom-4 mission have returned to Earth after an 18-day stay at the international space headquarters. The dragon spacecraft has landed in the sea of California. The capsule landed on earth at 3 pm carrying them and their three other companions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed happiness over captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s safe return. He has described this journey to return to earth with space.
Four astronauts, including Shubhanshu Shukla, have returned to Earth after staying at the space station for 18 days. After about 23 hours of journey, the Dragon spacecraft landed on the coast of California on July 15 at 3 pm today. This is called splashdown. All four astronauts departed for Earth from the International Place Station at 4:45 pm a day ago.
All astronauts arrived at ISS at 4:01 pm on June 26 as per Indian time. They departed on June 25 at 12 noon at Axium Mission 4. They flew from the Kennedy Space Center in the dragon capsule attached to the Falcon-9 rocket of SpaceX.
Prime Minister Modi greeted
On his return to Shubhanshu, Prime Minister Modi said – I welcome Group captain Shubhanshu Shukla to return to the earth with his historic space journey with the entire country. Shubhanshu has inspired billions of dreams courageously. This is one more landmark in the direction of our own human space flight mission.

Shubhanshu may return to India by August 17. Astronauts usually take seven days for medical examination and rehabilitation after landing so that they can again adapt to the earth’s gravity. After this they will return to India.
