In a bid to connect entrepreneurs from Africa and the Caribbean, the Africa Caribbean SMEs Network is poised to host its maiden event in Liberia come June 2021. This
network is one of the latest initiatives aimed at empowering business owners from these regions and promoting economic growth.
Supported by prominent world leaders across the Caribbean and African regions, the Africa Caribbean SMEs Network aims to provide a platform for SMEs to network, collaborate, and meet with investors. By focusing on entrepreneurship, innovation, and private sector development, the network will create economic opportunities that will positively impact the regions and the world at large.
Through this network, SMEs will have access to funding, mentoring, and technical assistance, which will help them to grow and create job opportunities. According to statistics, SMEs account for 90% of businesses in developing countries and contribute up to 35% of GDP.
The Africa Caribbean SMEs Network aims to leverage this fact to drive regional economic growth and engage in sustainable investment strategies. With its focus on creativity and innovation, the network is poised to impact the world in significant ways.
