According to the details received, Devilal Bherulal Kumawat (age 7), who lives in Bhimnagar Awas of Udhana, runs a grocery shop in his house. Four days ago, a young man came to his shop to pick up a bidi. The youth asked to give BD in loan. But Devilal did not give the bidi and the youth said, I am Sagar mentally ill, you will not lend me ..? He threatened to kill Devilal by removing the paddle from his abdomen. Devilalbhai lodged a complaint with the Udha police and the police registered a case against Sagar alias Sagar Manasik Dasharath (Rah., Thakornagar, Dindoli) and arrested him.
SOG cracks down on anti-social elements to maintain law and order in the city
Surat: A special drive was organized by SOG to maintain law and order in various areas of the city. The SOG speeded 7 people from Chokbazar, Pandesara and Limbayat carrying knives, paddles and swords.
The city police commissioner and the crime branch and SOG have been instructed by the current police commissioner to maintain law and order in the city. S.O.G. PI RS Suvera and PSI VC Jadeja had formed separate teams to strictly enforce the ceasefire declaration and to crack down on anti-social elements. Teams patrolled the affected area of the city. Meanwhile, seven persons were found carrying deadly weapons like knife, paddle and sword in public in Chok Bazaar, Pandesara and Limbayat area. Against whom charges of violation of the ceasefire declaration were lodged at the local police station. Among the arrested accused, two complaints against Mohit Patel were registered in Pandesara and two in Khatodara earlier.
