Surat: Prime Minister (PM) Modi has appealed to all the citizens of the country to hoist the national flag in their homes and institutions from August 13 to 15 on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav. Under which preparation is going on vigorously in Surat. A target has been set to sell more than 9 lakh tricolors in Surat. For which tricolor will be available from all zone office, ward office and civic center, education committee schools, Suman school, fire station, guard, BRTS stations of the municipality. A target has been set to sell 9 lakh tricolors in Surat city. But such a large number of tricolors will be sold and it is also very important to maintain the honor of the tricolor, the Manpa has also given an option that those who want to return the tricolors to the Manpa can return them to the Manpa.
On Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Collector Ayush Oak, who is currently in charge of Municipal Commissioner, Surat Municipal Corporation office held a meeting regarding the Har Ghar Tiranga program. In which all officers, NGOs, various organizations, society leaders were also present and discussions were held to make this program successful. Special arrangements will also be made to display the tricolor at maximum places in the city and in the Har Ghar Tiranga program of the Prime Minister, Surat will be covered on the globe and plans will be made to distribute more than 10 lakh tricolors in the city.
A running competition will be organized in schools on August 15
Surat: Various competitions and weeks have been organized in schools of Surat city and district in this year’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav. Under this competition, Nari Vandan Utsav, various competitions and running on 15th August will be organized from 1st August to 7th August. According to the circular issued by the Surat District Education Office, various programs and competitions have to be organized at the school level under Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav. Nari Vandan Utsav will be celebrated from August 1 to August 7. Various competitions like painting, child poet convention, music convention must be organized in the art festival. All the schools have to organize a run on 15th August and the school has to organize to felicitate the first, second and third coming students on 15th August. The top three students at the taluka level and district level will also be felicitated at the national festival.
