Sources in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that on September 29, the WHO alerted the Drug Controller General of India (CDSCO) about the cough syrup. Sources said the cough syrup is manufactured by M/s Maiden Pharmaceutical Limited in Sonepat, Haryana.
