France: Preparations for the Bastille Day parade to be held on July 14 in Paris, the capital of France, are in full swing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited as the chief guest at the Bastille Day Parade in France. Speaking to a news agency about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to France, Colonel Thierry of the French Air Force said, “While I and my soldiers are working on the Bastille Day Parade, we will see Prime Minister Modi and our French President.” It is a very emotional example because we will be about 30 meters away from them. So it will be a very moving moment.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay an official visit to France and UAE from July 13 to 15, 2023. He will visit Paris during July 13-14 at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The Prime Minister will be the guest of honor at the Bastille Day Parade on 14 July 2023, where a tri-service contingent of the Indian Armed Forces will participate. The Prime Minister will then visit Abu Dhabi on July 15.
Troops of India’s Army, Navy and Air Force organized a practice session for the Bastille Day parade on Wednesday. The team marched to the tune of ‘Sare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara’.
Indian Navy Commander Prateek Kumar said that it is a great feeling not only for the armed forces but for the people of India that we have been given an opportunity to represent the French government on Bastille Day, a prestigious event. Glad we are here as part of the tri-service contingent of Aami, Navy and Air Force.
