CNG has emerged as a cheaper alternative amid the phenomenally rising prices of petrol and diesel in the country. But since the way CNG prices have caught fire in the last one year, the tag of cheap has also started to be removed from it. CNG, which was once available at half the price of petrol, is now going step by step with it. On the other hand, in some cities of the country, the price of CNG has increased even more than that of diesel. Generally, CNG or diesel cars are 1 lakh rupees more expensive than petrol cars. In such a situation, people are now asking that why should we buy a CNG vehicle when we have to pay the same price as petrol.
