India is important for world development – PM Modi
Prime Minister Modi said that India’s energy security is important for global development. Because, India is the fastest growing economy in the world. We should promote no restrictions on energy supply and ensure stability in the energy market. By 2030, half of our electricity will be generated from renewable sources. He further said that for sustainable food security in India, we are promoting natural farming and re-popularizing nutritious and traditional food grains like millets. Millets can also address global malnutrition and hunger.

He said institutions like the UN have failed on these issues. That is why we all have to find a way to stop the war in Ukraine together.
World has no solution to food crisis – PM Modi
Prime Minister Modi said that today’s fertilizer shortage is tomorrow’s food crisis, for which the world has no solution. We must mutually agree to keep the supply chain of both fertilizer and grain stable and assured. India will chair the G-20 from December 1
India’s mediation between Russia and Ukraine is also being discussed as India is set to assume the G-20 presidency from December 1. In this sense also India’s diplomatic efforts have automatically received international recognition. India’s G-20 presidency motto is Vasudhaiva Kutumpakam.
