New Delhi: Almost everyone uses WhatsApp. However, new updates are coming on WhatsApp (Whats App) regarding features. This improves the user experience, but now a shocking report has come out. The report revealed that the phone numbers of around 50 crore WhatsApp users have been made available for sale on online hacking forums. The number of 84 countries is included in this data base. And the company that put the database up for sale has come to claim that it has access to data on 320 million American users. Along with this, among other countries of the world, about 4.5 crores of Egypt, 3.5 crores of Italy, 2.9 crores of Saudi Arabia, 2 crores of France and 2 crores of Turkey have been disclosed in a report of Cyber News.

The data also includes one crore Russian numbers and over 1.1 crore UK numbers. The person who put all these numbers up for sale said in a Cybernews report that they are selling data from USA, UK and Germany at different high prices.
Advice to be careful of calls from unknown numbers
Most attackers use this information for phishing attacks. That’s why WhatsApp users have been advised to be careful about calls and messages from unknown numbers. Besides, the chances of being cheated cannot be ruled out when calls are received from unknown numbers.
