New Delhi: 2023 Auto Expo (Auto Expo 2023) has started, this motor show has been started today i.e. from January 11. On the first day of the event, the country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki unveiled its first electric SUV concept Maruti eVX (electric SUV eVX). After that MG Motors launched the facelift of the existing Hector and launched the world’s first MPV i.e. Multi People Vehicle. Adorned with attractive looks and a powerful electric motor and battery pack, this SUV will also be launched for sale soon. Big brands from Maruti Suzuki to Tata Motors, Kia India are participating in this vehicle exhibition held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
how is Maruti eVX electric SUV
Maruti Suzuki says that the car has been designed and developed by Suzuki Motor Corporation. In the Maruti eVX Electric Concept, the company is using a 60kWh battery pack, which will give a driving range of up to 550 kilometers on a single charge. The car measures 4,300mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,600mm in height. The car is built on a completely new dedicated electric platform.
The Maruti eVX Electric Concept has been given the signature SUV design by the company, which comes with a very aerodynamic silhouette. It has better long wheelbase along with higher ground clearance. The company says that the SUV has been designed with the brand’s electric vehicle future in mind. Apart from this new concept, the company has also showcased models like WagonR Flex Fuel and Brezza CNG.
A flex fuel version of the Wagon-R can run on 20 to 80% ethanol.
Maruti has launched the flex fuel prototype of the WagonR at the Auto Expo. These cars can run on E85 fuel.These types of cars are developed to run on ethanol blends ranging from 20% to 85%. This type of vehicle is very cheap to run because ethanol is available at a very low price compared to petrol-diesel.
MG launched the world’s first electric MPV
MG Motors has launched the world’s first electric MPV at the Auto Expo. It has been named MIFA-9 (Mifa-9). The specialty of this car is that it will accelerate from 0 to 100 in just 4 seconds. Along with the existing Gloucester SUV, it is the largest car in MG’s line-up. The company has said that it will run more than 500 kilometers on a single charge.
Apart from Maruti Suzuki, brands like Morris Garage (MG), Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Build Your Dream (BYD), Torque Motors, Okinawa Autotech, Hero Electric, Hyundai, Kia India, Toyota and JBM will also present their vehicles. After a long wait of three years, the stock of vehicles is finally ready once again at the India Expo Mart in Noida. The 16th edition of the Auto Expo will open to the general public from January 13.
