New Delhi: The news of a big blast is coming to light in the city of Peshawar, Pakistan. It is being said that the blast took place inside the mosque. It has been revealed that 28 people died and more than 150 people were injured in this blast. A part of the mosque has collapsed due to the blast. In Peshawar, an explosion occurred in a mosque near police lines after Zohar prayers. The explosion was so powerful that the entire side of the mosque collapsed. A video of this incident has also surfaced, in which chaos is being seen after the blast.
Mohammad Asim, a spokesman for Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital (LRC), said the injured were still being brought to the hospital, some in critical condition. The area has been completely cordoned off and only ambulances are being allowed inside. Police officer Sikandar Khan said that a part of the building has collapsed. Many people are suspected to be buried under it. According to reports, the explosion took place at around 1:40 am. Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, has condemned the blast after receiving information about it.
According to preliminary information, the blast took place inside a mosque built in police lines. So far, 2 people have been killed and 30 injured. Many people are feared to have been killed. Pakistani army has surrounded the area. There is also an army unit office near it.
According to reports, the sound of the blast was so loud that it could be heard up to 2 kilometers away. People present in the police lines say that dust and smoke clouds were seen after the blast. After this the sounds of firing started coming.

Police said the blast took place in a dustbin outside a hotel. Eyewitnesses said that the explosion was so fierce that windows of nearby apartments, shops, cars broke and caught fire.
