During his tenure as CEO, Rengen created and executed a global strategy that resulted in Deloitte becoming the world’s leading professional services organization and recognized as the strongest and most valuable commercial services brand. While Biden’s list includes another Indian-American Rajasubramaniam, who is the chairman and CEO and a member of the board of directors of FedEx Corporation, one of the world’s largest transport companies. In 2023, Subramaniam was awarded the Tourist Bharatiya Samman Award, the highest civilian honor conferred by the President of India to an Indian tourist in recognition of outstanding achievements in India and abroad.
