New Delhi: Indigo Airlines’ Delhi-Doha flight had to land at Pakistan’s Karachi airport due to a medical emergency. An airline official said that due to a medical emergency, the Indigo flight to Doha has been diverted to Karachi, Pakistan.
According to the information, flight number 6E-1736 was diverted to Karachi airport in Pakistan due to medical emergency. The airline said that unfortunately the passenger could not be rescued. The airport medical team declared the passenger brought dead. The airline said we are deeply saddened by the news and our prayers are with the family and loved ones of the deceased passenger. Currently, we are coordinating with the authorities concerned.
Earlier, the Air India flight coming from America to Delhi had to make an emergency landing in Stockholm, Sweden. There were 300 passengers on the flight. The flight had taken off from Newark in America to Delhi, but due to a technical fault it had to make an emergency landing at Stockholm airport in Sweden. The engine-2 of the flight was running low on oil. On investigation, it was found that oil was leaking from the second engine. The drunken passenger who urinated on a co-passenger on American Airlines flight AA292 from New York to New Delhi has been identified as 26-year-old Arya Vohra. Accused Arya Vohra was taken into custody immediately after the flight landed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. During interrogation, the accused said that he was sleeping when the incident took place and did not remember anything.
