New Delhi: Amritpal’s supporters in London removed the Indian flag and hoisted the Khalistan flag in front of the Indian High Commission. But the Indians there took down the flag in a group and hoisted a bigger flag than that of India. Apart from this, the Indians there registered their protest against the supporters of Khalistan and staged a strong demonstration and demanded action from the government there regarding the attack. During this protest rally, Indian people gave the message of India’s unity in London.
It was said by the Indians in the meeting that no one would believe in Khalistan. A protester said that we are not demanding statements from Sadiq Khan and the British government but action. In a video, it can be seen that the protesters chanted slogans of Bharat Mata, Jai Hind. The protestors were also seen dancing to the Oscar winning song ‘Jai Ho’ from the Indian film Slumdog Millionaire. British security officials were also seen dancing with the Indian during this peaceful protest. A British police officer even danced with an Indian girl.
Support for Amritpal Singh from pro-Khalistan Punjabis now living abroad
Let it be known that Amritpal Singh, who is rebelling with the demand of Khalistan in Punjab, is now getting support from Punjabi supporters of Khalistan living abroad. Countries like Britain, America and Canada have started protesting against the arrest of Amritpal. On Sunday evening, the tricolor of India flying outside the British High Commission office in Britain was taken down and vandalized by Khalistanis. India has also taken an aggressive stance against these measures and has demanded an explanation from Britain. However, other Indians living in Britain have given a jaw-dropping response to the Khalistanis by hoisting a tricolor even bigger than the one that was lowered.
