Due to the wedding season, the purchase of gold has increased across the country, on the other hand, the prices of gold and silver have also increased. Today the price of gold has crossed Rs.61,000. On 4 May 2023, Gold opened at Rs.61,200 but then touched a record high of Rs.61,400. As of 11.25 am, the price of gold is running at Rs 61,328 with an increase of 0.69 per cent or Rs 363 per 10 grams from yesterday. Yesterday, gold closed at Rs 60,965 per 10 grams.
What is the position of gold in the international market?
Along with the country, the price of gold has increased in the international market as well. Several brokerage firms have estimated that the price of gold by the end of this year will reach Rs. will cross 63,000. HDFC Securities says the price of gold could touch Rs 65,000 per 10 by the end of this year. Today, the price of gold in the international market is running at 2,040.46 dollars per ounce. As for silver, it is running at $25.82 per ounce.
