India ranks third in terms of number of billionaires in the world. According to World Statistics, the country has 169 billionaires, while the US tops the list with 735 billionaires. According to the data, the second place is occupied by China, where there are 495 billionaires. India has more billionaires than developed countries like Germany, Italy, Canada, Britain, Australia, France, Switzerland and Japan. Japan is at the bottom of the list of 15 countries with the most billionaires. Only 40 are billionaires. The list of countries with more than 100 billionaires in the world includes America, China, India, Germany and Russia. According to the Forbes list, India’s financial capital Mumbai has the highest number of billionaires at 66, while the country’s capital Delhi has 39 billionaires. Also 21 billionaires are from Bengaluru.
