Four children, including a newborn, who were lost after a plane crash in the thick forest of Amazon, Colombia, have been found safe after 40 days. These children have been taken out safely. These four innocent children were found alone in the forest. One of these children is only 11 months old. It is considered a miracle for these children to survive for so long in a dangerous jungle full of wild animals like the Amazon, where it is dark even during the day.
On May 1, a Cessna 206 aircraft with 7 passengers crashed in Colombian airspace. The plane crashed in the Amazon jungle. 3 people including the pilot and the children’s mother were killed in this accident. The wreckage of the plane was found 16 days after the accident, i.e. on 16 May. We found 3 bodies including the pilot in the wreckage. One of these bodies was that of a mother of 4 children. However, no trace of the four children was found after the accident. The Colombian government and military launched an operation to find the children. However, due to the presence of 131 feet tall trees in the Amazon forest, the army was facing many difficulties in rescue and search operations.
Military planes and helicopters joined the search for the children. A sniffer dog was also used. Children’s belongings were found in the forest during the campaign. In which scissors, milk bottles etc. were found. Children’s footprints were also found at many places. A recorded message from the helicopter in the voice of the children’s grandmother was also played during the search to give the children any indication that they were alive.
