Sarah, a money-saving whizz from the UK, explained how you can get M&S freebies every 30 days – and it’s so simple.
The savvy shopper took to social media to alert other users to the simple trick – and not only are there bags of Percy Pigs or Colin Caterpillar sweets available, but you’ll also give your wardrobe a declutter too – yes, you heard that correctly.
Thanks to the M&S Shwop scheme, you can donate your pre-loved items and get a sweet treat in return.
The M&S fan explained: “Here is how you can get a free bag of Percy Pigs every 30 days at M&S.
“You can take any unwanted piece of clothing, any brand, into your local Marks and Spencer, and in the clothing section they have something called a swap box.
“Simply place your donated item in the box, scan the barcode, and you’ll get a voucher for any free bag of Percy Pigs or Colin Caterpillar sweets, including the £4 giant bags.”
Sarah later explained: “It can be any bag so we went with the biggest £4 bag!
“You need a rewards card to do this, but you get that free when you make a free M&S account online.
“What’s better? You can do this every 30 days!
“So not only will your wardrobe be decluttered and clean, you’ll get rewarded for it too.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @mybudgethomex, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 14,400 views.
One person tagged a friend and said: “Let’s go.”
Whilst the beaming shopper replied: “Yes please.”
M&S have been ‘shwopping’ since 2008 – as a way for customers to responsibly rehome and repurpose their pre-loved clothes.
The chain’s Shwopping partner is Oxfam, who will either resell, reuse or cycle the donated textiles to help raise money to tackle poverty across the world.
You don’t need to buy anything to Shwop with M&S and incredibly, since 2008, the M&S and Oxfam Shwopping partnership has collected over 35 million items, contributing to an estimated £23 million to Oxfam’s vital work across the world.
