A GREGGS employee has revealed that an Iceland favourite is “literally the exact same” as they serve in store.
The comment came about when one man shared a video slamming the Greggs range in the frozen food store.

In the TikTok, he focused the camera on the sausage rolls, as he called them “bottom of the barrel stuff”.
“If you’re warming this up in 2024, you’re done,” he said.
“You’re finished.
“Absolutely uncalled for.
“Absolutely unheard of.
“Absolutely hideous”.
But someone in the comments insisted he had nothing to rage about, as the sausage rolls in the Iceland freezers are identical to the ones in Greggs itself.
“As someone who works at Greggs it’s literally the exact same, come out of a freezer and goes into an oven,” she said.
Someone argued with her, to which she replied: “I mean I work at Greggs and have served thousands of sausage rolls, I think I’d know!”
When another person said that the sausage rolls taste better from Greggs, she added: “Probably because our ovens are better so cook them better.
“And Iceland probably store them for a bit before selling.”
“Greggs have them come in the same way, frozen then cooked,” another added.
“They’re exactly the same just cooked in the oven at home.
“Why you making this seem bad?”
“It’s quite literally the same thing they cook in greggs,” a third insisted.
“Shopping in iceland and talking like this is crazy!”
“You realise greggs make them from frozen too?” someone else asked.
Meanwhile, others insisted that the sausage rolls from Iceland are actually better than Greggs.
“These are way better than the one from Greggs ngl,” one wrote.
“They’ve been selling them like that for ages now and they taste better than from actual Greggs!” another added.
“It’s no different to eating from Greggs,” a third said.
“It’s actually better because at home it’s fresh not sitting there for ages!”
“Can guarantee this man has never tried it, tastes better than buying it from Greggs…” someone else commented.
As another agreed: “They actually taste nicer than the ones direct from Greggs!”
As well as sausage rolls, Iceland’s Greggs range includes steak bakes, chicken bakes, vegan sausage rolls and even their milk chocolate cookies.
