Bajaj Company (Bajaj Company) has brought the world's first CNG bike (Bike) Freedom 125. This bike will run on both CNG and petrol fuel on road. About the driving range of this bike, the company is claiming that it will run up to 213 kilometers on CNG. While it will cover a distance of 117 kilometers on petrol. Due to which its total range becomes 330 kilometers. Let's know what other features it will have.
Bajaj Auto launched the world's first CNG bike 'Bajaj Freedom 125' on Friday 5th July. There are two fuel options for riding the bike namely 2 liter petrol tank and 2 kg CNG tank. Filling both of them once will give a mileage of 330 km. The rider can switch from CNG to petrol and from petrol to CNG with a single button. Its price is Rs. 95,000 to Rs. 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom) is between. Booking of bikes has started. Delivery will start in Maharashtra and Gujarat first. It will be available in remaining states in a phased manner.
The Bajaj Freedom CNG bike comes in three variants. More than 11 safety tests of the bike have been done. The tank did not leak even after a 10 ton load truck came down. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari claimed that the cost of running a CNG two-wheeler would be around Rs 1 per kilometre.
Bajaj will also bring CNG bikes in different segments
Bajaj Auto MD Rajeev Bajaj said, 'The company will target consumers who are concerned about rising costs with the CNG model. Bajaj says, 'We will build a portfolio of CNG bikes, which will include 100CC, 125CC and 150-160CC bikes.'
This Bajaj bike has a 125 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with fuel injection. The engine of this bike generates a maximum power of 9.4 bhp and a peak torque of 9.7 Nm. It is mated to an X-speed gearbox. It has a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. For braking, there is a disc brake setup at the front and a drum brake setup at the rear.
