The Eagle has landed in 3rd place. This is a Mount Anvil development just inside Islington, on the edge of the City of London. In 4th place is Ashburton Gate, a residential development with a unique location next to Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, and a short walk from Islington’s popular Upper Street. Our list’s 5th spot is taken by Queensland Terrace, situated just seconds from The Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal football team. It is well placed for commuters, with excellent transport links via Holloway Road’s Piccadilly line and Drayton Park’s National Rail services.
Enjoying 6th place for Islington is this iconic Highbury development. Highbury Square was built around what was once the hallowed turf of the famous stadium. The pitch now forms the communal gardens for the site, which many people refer to as ‘Highbury Stadium Square’. The listed East and West stands were redeveloped as flats, while the Clock End and North Bank stands were demolished to make way for brand-new apartments. In total, the development comprises 711 units, with studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments. We have a newcomer to the list in 9th. Canaletto London is a development by Groveworld, which features 190 one, two and three-bedroom apartments and studios in a 31-storey tower. Situated in City Road in Hoxton, the development is less than a ten-minute walk away from Old Street Underground and rail station, with connections to the Northern line and Great Northern rail services. Finishing off the top 10 we have Tiltman Place, a Grainger development offering 206 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as a cafe and leisure facilities on site. The development is situated a 10-minute walk from Finsbury Park station, which is served by the Victoria line, the Piccadilly line and national rail services.

Three of the capital’s busiest rail terminals – Euston, Kings Cross and St. Pancras International, are all within easy reach from the borough. Islington also benefits from extensive bus services and easy access to major road routes away from the city, including the A1.
