Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla said that under the axium mission, we stayed at the International Space Station (ISS) for two weeks. I was a mission pilot, I was a commander, I was commanding the system. We did many experiments during the two weeks in ISS. Taken some photos. We took a lot of training for this. It was a different experience.
Addressing a press conference at the media center in Delhi, Shubhanshu said that if we say we are never afraid, it would be wrong. Everyone is afraid but there is a trusted team behind us that we entrust our lives.
When the rocket flew, what did your mind come first? Responding to this question, Shubhanshu said that I was very excited, though the mission is dangerous. You know about it. There is a risk somewhere in normal life. That's why I managed it. Jitendra Singh also replied that if we look at the statistics, the number of failure of the space mission is much lower than the road accidents.
Shubhanshu said that during training we think of what the mission will be like. When it comes to launching, that feeling cannot be described in words. The benefit of conducting a human space mission is not limited to just training. The extra knowledge we get there is invaluable. The information I have collected in the last one year will be very useful for our own mission, gaganyan and Indian space station.
Very soon we will send someone from our capsules, our rockets and our earth into space. This experience is very different from the experiences learned on the ground. There are many changes in the body. After spending 20 days in space, the body forgets to remain in gravity.
Shubhanshu's next mission will be in the gagnayan
Shubhanshu also spoke about the Gagnayan Mission. The Gagnayan Mission is the human space mission of ISRO. Under this, three Air Force pilots will be sent into space in 2027. The pilot will be in the orbit of 400 km for 3 days, then the spacecraft will be unloaded in the Indian Ocean. The mission costs around Rs 20,193 crore.
Four pilots of the Air Force have been selected for the Gagnian Mission, one of which is group captain Shubhanshu Shukla. That is why Shubhanshu went to the international space station under the Axium Mission. ISRO will send two empty test flights before sending the pilot into space by Gaganyan. A robot will be sent to the third flight. Humans will go into space on the fourth flight after its success. The first test flight can be sent by the end of this year.
