On November 28, 2025, the 2025 Yangtze River Delta G60 Sci-Tech Innovation Valley Conference on Innovation Ecosystem and Resource Alignment was held in Songjiang District, Shanghai.
The nine G60 cities gathered with the strategic orientation of “being rooted in the Yangtze River Delta, radiating across the nation, and having a global vision.” The conference focused on “deepening, solidifying, and optimizing the G60 Sci-Tech Innovation Valley, and promoting the convergence and integration of innovation resources,” aiming to accelerate the development of a sci-tech innovation Valley with international influence and a pivotal source of innovation in China.
The conference released major policies, including the “Several Measures on Supporting the Construction of the Source Region of the Yangtze River Delta G60 Sci-Tech Innovation Valley” and the “Work Plan for Deepening and Solidifying Financial Support for the Yangtze River Delta G60 Sci-Tech Innovation Valley,”along with a batch of major sci-tech innovation achievements. It also launched enabling platforms such as the G60 Global Talent Attraction Service Matrix, the Industry-University-Research-Application-Finance Consortium, and the Agricultural Sci-Tech Innovation Development Alliance. Awards were presented to the winning projects of the “Creating Wins the Future”4th G60 Science, Technology and Industry Innovation Competition. Cooperation agreements were signed for the Collaborative Development Matrix of the Songjiang University Town Science Innovation Source, and major platforms, including the Zhu Guangya Strategic Science and Technology Institute, entered into strategic cooperation agreements with the G60 Joint Office. A series of cooperative projects were also signed and initiated.

Shanghai’s Songjiang District is the source region of the Yangtze River Delta G60 Sci-Tech Innovation Valley. Since its inception on May 24, 2016, the Valley has evolved through Version 1.0“Originating in Songjiang,”Version 2.0“Connecting Jiaxing and Hangzhou,”and Version 3.0“Co-construction by Nine Cities.”Its development has been incorporated into key national documents, including the“Yangtze River Delta Regional Integration Development Plan Outline”and the national 14th Five-Year Plan. Guided by the implementation of national strategic tasks, the nine G60 cities focus on industrial, supply, and innovation chains, cultivate and strengthen new quality productive forces, continuously build world-class industrial clusters, and strive to become a powerful engine for regional integrated development and a significant carrier for Shanghai’s global vision as an international sci-tech innovation center.
