According to Japan’s Miyazaki Local Product and Trade Promotion Center, this mango is produced from April to August. The mangoes sold throughout Japan are completely different from the mangoes grown in South Asia. According to the Miyazaki Local Product and Trade Promotion Center, this mango has special nutrients. These mangoes are rich in antioxidants beta-carotene and folic acid. The center claims that both of these items are very effective for eyesight, proving to be very effective in overcoming poor vision. Every mango is properly checked before being exported to the international market. This mango has been cultivated in Japan since the 1970-80s. However, five decades later, there are reports of these Miyazaki plants being planted in countries like India, Bangladesh, Thailand and the Philippines.
