Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the Pakistan Army not to support the government led by PM Shahbaz Sharif. He alleged that the Shahbaz government has failed to fulfill the hopes of the people. Imran Khan urged the top brass of the Pakistan Army to review his decision, claiming that any wrong move could further widen the rift between the public and the establishment. Imran Khan has accused Pakistan Army of supporting Shahbaz Sharif before. Two days before that, former minister Fawad Hussain, who is considered as Imran’s cousin, said that people are ready for revolution, now the army has to decide why it has to do this. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party Chairman Imran Khan while addressing a seminar of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists in Islamabad said that the country is looking towards the army because it has power. The longer the current regime lasts, the more damaging it will prove to be for the country.
