Dubai: A decades-old dream of Indians living in the Islamic country United Arab Emirates came true when a grand Hindu temple was officially inaugurated in the country. The UAE is a powerful symbol of tolerance, peace and goodwill bringing people of different faiths together. The temple is located in the Corridor of Tolerance in Jebel Ali, Emirate. The temple was formally opened on 4 October. There are 9 religious sites in the Corridor of Torlans. It includes seven churches, one temple and one temple. A day before Dussehra, Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan himself inaugurated the magnificent temple by lighting the lamp. The main prayer hall was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon. The doors of the temple were thrown open for prayers. More than 200 distinguished guests were present during the inauguration of the temple. In which Indian Ambassador Sanjay Sudhir, Dubai Hindu Mandir Trustee Raju Shroff and Social Regulatory and Licensing Agency for Community Development Authority CEO Dr. Umar Al Muthanna is also involved. This year Indian Ambassador Sanjay Sudhir said that a new Hindu temple is being inaugurated in Dubai today. Which is welcome news for the Indian community. The inauguration of this temple caters to the religious aspirations of the Hindu community living in the UAE. A gudwara is also attached to the new temple, which was opened in 2012. The gates of the temple were officially opened from today. People of all religions can have darshan of God in the temple. He said that the temple has idols of 16 deities. It has a knowledge room and a community center for other religious activities. It should be mentioned here that the temple is spread over 70 thousand square feet.
