New Delhi: Astronomers have made a very new and rare discovery among the stars of the sky. A new planet has been discovered in a discovery made by astronomy and astrophysics. Which is very similar to our earth. Scientists have named it Wolfe 1069 B. This planet is being expressed as having certain possibilities of being habitable for humans. The discovery goes to an international team of astronomers. Wolff 1069 b is only 31 light-years from Earth, orbiting a red dwarf star, scientists said.
- A very new and rare discovery among the stars of the galaxy
- Scientists have named this planet, which is similar to Earth, Wolff 1069 b
- Wolff 1069 b is only 31 light years from Earth
This newly discovered planet is only 31 light years away from Earth
Wolff 1069 b, discovered by a team of scientists, is located just 31 light-years away from Earth. This planet (star) is small in shape and red in color. This star produces about 65 percent less radiation than the Sun. One part of which is seeing light and the other is dark. And the most exciting thing is that this exoplanet is only 31 light years away from our Earth.
This planet is habitable for humans
Astronomers have claimed about this newly discovered planet that this planet is habitable for humans and can be lived for thousands of years. Scientists are convinced that life exists beyond Earth. However, we have yet to find a planet that can sustain even the tiniest forms of life. This is the reason why this planet can possibly become habitable for humans.
This is the sixth planet discovered near Earth
When scientists analyzed data from Wolf 1069b, they found that it orbits the same distance as the Earth and the Sun in 15.6 days. Its mass is 1.26 times that of Earth and its size is 1.08 times larger. Its surface temperature is between minus 95 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius. Its average temperature is minus 40.14 degrees Celsius. It is also the sixth closest planet to Earth.
It is worth mentioning that this planet has been discovered with the help of the 3.5 meter Carmen’s telescope at Keller Alto Observatory in Caspian. So far, astronomers have discovered 5200 planets, of which less than 200 are rocky planets.
