Washington: Apsara Iyer, a second-year Indian-American student at Harvard Law School, has been elected as the chair of the prestigious Harvard Law Review. This is the first time in the Law Review’s 136-year history that a woman of Indian origin has held the position. The Law Review, run by Harvard Law School, is an organization that reviews and selects journal articles for publication in the field of law. It was established in the year 1887. ‘The Harvard Crimson’ has said in one of its reports that Apsara Iyer was selected as the 137th President of the Harvard Law Review. Apsara Iyer has expressed her happiness on being selected as the President of Harvard Law Review. He said his aim as Low Review chair is to involve more editors in the article review and selection process and to maintain the publication’s reputation for high quality work.
