New Delhi: The judges of International Criminal Court i.e. ICC have given a big blow to Russian President Vladimir Putin in the matter of Russia-Ukraine War. The court has announced an arrest warrant against Putin. “The ICC warrant against Putin is ‘just the beginning’,” Ukrainian President Zelensky said on the matter. Now Putin can be arrested at any time. Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Russia for three days from Monday to show support for Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to discuss the conflict in the Eastern European country with his Chinese counterpart amid the ongoing invasion of Ukraine and strained relations between the West and the East, it has been reported.
When Putin’s army arrived in Ukraine, everyone predicted that Ukraine would soon bow to Russia. However, this has not been seen to happen yet. In contrast, Ukraine is firmly at the forefront. In such a situation, questions are being raised on Russia and Putin. Many experts are predicting the disintegration of Russia and the fall of Putin. Boris Bondarev, a former Russian diplomat, has said that Putin may be forced to step down if he does not succeed in winning the war on his own terms. Bondarev reportedly publicly resigned after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last year.
Can China compromise?
