And if you’ve got a sweet tooth, then there’s a Haribo treat that you’ll definitely want to snap up before it’s too late.

It works out at just half a penny per mini bag[/caption]

Eagle-eyed shoppers spotted a 500g multipack of the beloved sweetie reduced to a whopping 95% off this week.

The Haribo ‘Happy Eggster’ bags were originally priced at £1.75 over Easter.

But they have now been slashed to just 9p.

With each pack containing around 18 mini bags it works out at half a penny a bag – ideal for a cheap evening snack or lunch box treat.

Bargain hunters have flooded the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group – which boasts 2.4million members – with comments as they’re desperate to find the sweet deal in their local store.

Sharing a snap of lots filling the shelf at her Aldi, one shopper said: “9p in Aldi, in date until May 2025.”

A second wrote: “Easter sweets in date till next Easter? Nice.”

A third added: “Oh going in there later, I’ll check thanks.”

“We need to get there”, chimed in a fourth.

A fourth insisted: “Get stocking up.”

A fifth said: “These are the Haribo i was after from Aldi, keep an eye out.”

Meanwhile, a sixth echoed: “We will have to pick some up.”

And if this has inspired you to head to Aldi this week, here’s what else you might find on offer in the middle aisle.

There’s a great selection of Specialbuy items available, with stylish trainers for just £11.99 and kitchen buys from £1.99.

Not only this, but there are also cheap buys that your kids will love too.

So whether you want to start running, cooking or keeping your little ones entertained, there’s something for you.
