What is the YR4 meteorite, which is likely to hit the earth, how much danger to China alert, India?

About 7 years later, a major threat is likely to occur on Earth from space. Space research agencies around the world are currently busy preparing plans to cope with this threat. Whether it is an American space agency- NASA or China, who is preparing to form a separate team of security forces to deal with this danger. This is the threat of a meteorite that can collide with the earth in 2032. Currently this meteorite is at lower risk of falling on earth, but if this is true, the loss can be too big.

The full name of the YR4 meteorite is 2024 YR4. This meteorite was described as an Apollo -type substance that would move around the earth. The YR4 was first discovered by a meteorite inspection station located in Rio Hartdo, Chile on December 27, 2024. It is said that when the asteroid Terestrial Impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) issued a warning about the danger originating from this meteorite, panic was spread among space agencies around the world. Since then, space agencies have placed YR4 in the list of hazardous objects falling from space.

How much can it hurt if YR4 collides with the earth?
According to scientists, if the YR4 meteorite moves towards colliding with the earth, then its motion will also add gravity force. That is, it can hit the earth at about 17 km per second. However, the big impact on the earth depends on its surface. If the 130 -foot -wide surface of this meteor collides with the earth, it would be like a big explosion. This can cause a major explosion on the earth, though not likely to be overwhelming. But if the 300 -foot -long surface of this meteor hit the earth at this speed, it has the ability to destroy the entire city. This will be a disaster in itself and therefore it is important to keep an eye on this YR4.

It is likely to be destroyed in the air because of a rock
Scientists say that it is also likely that this meteor can be destroyed by fire in the air before colliding with the earth. However, if this does not happen, the explosion caused by a collision can cause widespread destruction. Its power would be 80 million tonnes of TNT (explosive), which will be 500 times more powerful than atomic bombs thrown on Hiroshima. Such an explosion can cause heavy destruction in radius of 50 km. If the meteorite falls into the sea or ocean, it can cause a tsunami.

Where is the possibility of damage to the earth?
The probability of colliding with this meteorite is only 2.3 percent. This means that the YR4 is more likely to pass closely to the earth. Nevertheless, NASA continues to announce its estimates based on the calculation of the current orbit of the meteorite. According to David Rankin, engineer at NASA's Catalina Sky Survey Project, the radius of its effect can be huge if the meteorite collision is true. According to current predictions made by NASA, YR4 can affect South America, Pacific Ocean, South Asia, Arabian Sea, Atlantic Ocean or parts of the Atlantic Ocean or Africa.

India, Pakistan, Bangladesh are the most likely South Asian countries to face the worst influence of this meteorite; From Africa, Ethiopia, Sudan and Nigeria are included. In addition, Venezuela, Colombia and Iquador have also been placed in dangerous areas in South America. Although this is only an estimate based on initial data. If the YR4 changes its speed and orbit, its effect may change.

The magnitude of the danger originating from this meteorite can be estimated from the fact that in addition to the NASA and European space agency of the United States, China has now begun to face the YR4 threat. According to reports of China's newspaper South China Morning Post and British newspaper The Guardian, China has begun to form a Planetary Defense Force in view of the danger of meteorites.

Recruitment has been started in China for this. An online job post at China's State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry (SASTIN) has been asked to apply to aerospace engineers who graduated in subjects such as under 35 years of age and international cooperation and asteroid search. According to the job post, 16 such people will be recruited in China. Three of these will be included in the Planetary Defense Force. Not only this, only candidates with strict political attitudes have been invented for this recruitment, which only matches China's Communist Party and its leader Xi Jinping.

According to some reports, China has already prepared its planet defense force and the new recruitment is being made only with the purpose of increasing the strength of the defense force and increasing international cooperation. The reports say that China is preparing to repeat the same operation as NASA's 2022 to destroy an asteroid – 2015 XF261 in 2027.
