Another historic moment is to come to India’s space mission. Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, who spent 18 days at the International Space Station (ISS), has now gone back to Earth. Shubhanshu Shukla and his team are riding in the dragon spacecraft, and undoing from the space station took place at about 4:50 pm (Indian time). This mission is also a sign of Hungary and Poland to return to space as these countries have participated in space again after four decades.

Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla has left for Earth on Monday after spending 18 days at the International Space Station (ISS). Shukla Rakesh Sharma (1984) is the second Indian astronaut to travel in space. The Axiome Space said in a statement that the crew is expected to land on the coast of California after 22.5 hours of journey to Earth (Tuesday at 3:01 pm according to Indian time).

The whole process will be automated
The process of separating the dragon spacecraft from the international space station will be completely automated. After undoing the dragon engine will undergo certain processes so that the required energy is produced so that it can be safely removed from the international space station and can begin the process of entering the earth.

How long will it take to get back to earth?
The spacecraft will face a temperature of about 1,600 degrees Celsius when returning to Earth. The parachute will work in two phases. In the first phase stability parachute will work at a height of about 5.7 kilometers and then the main parachute in the second phase will work at a height of about two kilometers. The spacecraft is expected to descend on the coast of California about 22.5 hours after ‘Undocking’ and the space capsule will be brought back by a special ship.

What will happen after returning?
Astronauts will have to spend about seven days in rehabilitation to return to a favorable state of the earth’s environment. Astronauts have to adjust life under the influence of earth’s gravity against weightlessness at the space station. This has been a historic journey for Shukla to become the first Indian to visit ISS.
